LOVE AND PEACE RIDDIM produced by ABENGG INTERNATIONAL RECORDS 2007
Love And Peace Overview
Roots reggae has always depended on skilled musicians and producers who keep the tradition alive. In 2007, ABENGG INTERNATIONAL RECORDS played an important role in this movement. The label is known for supporting authentic reggae sounds and has worked with both new and experienced artists. Their focus on roots music helped bring a fresh energy to the genre during this time. The "Love And Peace Riddim" brought together a strong group of artists. Althea Di Chick performed "Boom, Boom, Boom," adding her unique voice to the mix. Bunny Brown contributed "Send Your Love." Brown was a member of The Chosen Few, a group known for their harmonies and classic reggae hits. Capital D delivered "Baby Don't Cry," showing his smooth style. Charmaine Limonius sang "Ven A Mi," bringing a soulful touch. Dwight Pinkney played "Love & Peace Rock." Pinkney is a respected guitarist and founding member of the Roots Radics band, who have shaped reggae’s sound for decades. Other tracks included Gavinchi with "Another Day," High Quality’s "My Angel, My Voice," Juleen’s "Come To Me," Junior Tamlin’s "What A Man To Do," and Oliver Smooth’s "So Happy." Each artist added something special, making the riddim a favorite on 2007 reggae playlists and helping roots reggae stay strong.
