Intercol Overview
Intercol Riddim is a soca beat from Trinidad and Tobago, released in 2013. This riddim became a favorite during Carnival that year, playing loudly along parade routes and at every big party. Several top soca artists brought their own style to the Intercol Riddim. Bunji Garlin performed “Journey Continues,” adding his unique energy. Bunji Garlin is well known for his hit “Differentology,” which won the 2013 Soul Train Award for Best International Performance. Kerwin Du Bois contributed “Yuh Role.” He is respected in the soca world for writing and producing many big songs, including the popular “Too Real.” Machel Montano, a legend in soca music, delivered “Energy High.” Machel Montano has won multiple Road March titles in Trinidad and Tobago, making him one of the most celebrated artists in the genre. Nadia Batson’s “Doh Tell Mi” showed her strong voice and catchy style. Nadia is also known for her songwriting skills and for hits like “So Long.” The release also included Version’s “Intercol Riddim,” giving fans the pure beat. The riddim was produced by PRECISION x ADVOKIT PRODUCTIONS, two respected names in Caribbean music. Precision Productions, led by Kasey Phillips, has worked on many successful soca projects and is known for shaping the modern sound of Trinidad’s Carnival.
