IMAC RIDDIM produced by TRIPLEDOSE PRODUCTION 2016
Imac Overview
In 2016, dancehall was alive with energy across Jamaica’s streets and clubs. The Imac Riddim became a big part of that scene. It brought people together, making everyone want to move. The beats were fast and catchy. This riddim was built for the dancefloor, and it gave new artists their chance to shine. The person behind the sound was TRIPLEDOSE PRODUCTION. This producer is known for bringing out strong, street-ready music. TRIPLEDOSE PRODUCTION has worked with many artists and helped push dancehall music to new places. Their style is always bold and full of life, and the Imac Riddim is a good example of that. On this riddim, some well-known names stood out. Beenie Man, who is called the “King of Dancehall,” teamed up with Blakk Man for the track “Real Bad Man.” Beenie Man is famous for hits like “Who Am I (Sim Simma)” and has won a Grammy Award. Demarco, another big name, brought his song “Board Box.” Demarco is known for songs like “Fallen Soldiers” and has produced for other artists too. But the Imac Riddim was also special because it gave new artists a break. Iq came with “Feel The Vybez,” while Jah Vinci, who once worked with Vybz Kartel, sang “High In Yah.” Jah Vinci also joined Nae Nae for “Sexual Commentary.” These tracks showed the fresh talent coming up in dancehall. Raytid’s “Tastee” and Shakespear’s “Star Bwoy” added even more fire.
