The sound system cut for this 2001 dancehall compilation came together during late-night studio sessions. The sound engineer aimed for a tight, energetic mix that would work well in any dance setting. He carefully balanced the riddim, making sure each vocal stood out over the lively beat. The creative direction was focused on keeping the music fresh but true to dancehall’s roots. ANNEX PRODUCTION, the producer behind this project, was active in the early 2000s and worked with Greensleeves Records, a well-known label in reggae and dancehall. Their productions often featured top artists and helped push dancehall rhythms worldwide. Beenie Man brought his song "Forget You" to the riddim. Known for his hit "Who Am I (Sim Simma)" and a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album in 2009, Beenie Man’s style is both playful and commanding. Buccaneer delivered "Gal You Make It," adding his unique flair. Capleton, famous for his energetic performances and songs like "Tour," contributed two tracks: "Forward Inna Dem Clothes" and "High Grade." Ce'cile, one of dancehall’s leading female voices, offered "Tell Lie," showing her sharp lyrical skills. Danny English, with "We No Like Spy," kept the vibe strong for the dance.
