Out of the 2018 dancehall run, Haadraine Riddim feels like a neat little snapshot of the scene at the time: six voices, eight cuts, and every tune sitting at the same compact 2: 58 length. Haadraine Production keeps the music lean and direct, letting Thugsy Malone’s “Ready Money” and Fullmarks’ “Heart Burn” do the heavy lifting, while Rodaine’s “Love Craze” and Cavi Nature’s “Cuppins” keep the energy moving without crowding the rhythm. There’s even a raw version for both Thugsy Malone and Fullmarks, which gives the riddim that extra street-side edge, and the producer closes things out with the “Hard Raine Instrumental, ” just as the name suggests.
