Life 4 Eva Riddim – Fox Fuse

Carried by a tight three-track run, Life 4 Eva Riddim landed from Fox Fuse in early 2017 as a lean dancehall set with Brighta Star, Contagious and DEE1 each taking a turn over the same cut. The title track’s mood is more reflective than rowdy, which fits Brighta Star’s “Success Sweeter” and Dee1’s “The Journey” especially well, while Contagious eases in with “Without You” on the same polished footing. Fox Fuse had already been moving plenty of riddims that year, and this one sits comfortably in that busy stretch: compact, melodic, and aimed squarely at the streaming-era dancehall crowd rather than the big-clash dancefloor.
