Cann Gwan Riddim – Lay-Z Boy

Cann Gwan Riddim keeps the focus tight: five cuts, four vocalists, and a stripped dancehall swing that leaves plenty of room for the deejays to talk their talk. Ratigan doubles up here with “Vibez” and the raw version, so his voice sets the tone early, while Vettron’s “No Complaining” and Dhuty Lugsri’s “Naked” keep the riddim moving through a more street-level, no-frills pocket. Lay-Z Boy’s production doesn’t crowd the vocalists; it leans on a lean, percussive pulse and a nagging bounce that suits the title’s own get-up-and-go energy. The instrumental closes things out cleanly, but it’s Ratigan’s “Vibez” that gives the project its sharpest edge, especially with the raw take sitting right beside it for extra bite.
