Purple Shot Riddim was produced by Lay-Z Boy Records and Parchment Musik Group in 2020, with a compact five-artist lineup built around Gaza Kim’s Thirsty, Kliniikal’s Normal Thing, and Ras Fraser Jr. ’s Bad Breed. The set also includes Krazy Don’s Flip Cash and Purpl-S’s Purple Flavor, giving the riddim a tight six-track package with a clear dancehall focus. It lands in the same period as other Lay-Z Boy output and keeps the production lean, with the radio edit of Thirsty adding a little extra push for the release.
