Forever Summer Riddim – Thompson House Music

Back in 2019, when dancehall was leaning hard into slick but compact one-riddim packages, Thompson House Music kept Forever Summer Riddim tight with just four cuts and a run time of a little over 21 minutes. The riddim sits in that mid-tempo, radio-friendly pocket, with enough bounce for the clash-minded hooks but still a smooth enough groove for the singers to stretch out. Tifa’s “Boasty” is the obvious spark here, sharp and confident, while Teflon’s “Lifestyle” and Alandon’s “Middle Sextion” keep the energy moving without crowding the rhythm. Frassman closes it out with “Ungrateful, ” which leaves the project on a more reflective note and gives the instrumental a final, cooler breath.
