FAITHFUL RIDDIM produced by CASHFLOW RECORDS – 2011
Faithful Overview
In 2011, the Faithful Riddim was built from the ground up in the studio, with a focus on capturing the true spirit of roots reggae. The sound architect behind the project wanted to create an instrumental that honored classic reggae rhythms, while still feeling fresh for a new generation. This balance between old and new was key to the creative direction. The producer, CASHFLOW RECORDS, played a central role in shaping the riddim. Known for their work in the reggae and dancehall scene, CASHFLOW RECORDS had already made a name by producing hits for several top Jamaican artists. Their attention to detail and respect for reggae’s foundation helped the Faithful Riddim stand out. Each artist brought their own style to the project. Cecile delivered “Find Dem Out,” giving the riddim a sharp and confident energy. Chris Martin’s “Stay Faithful” offered smooth vocals and a heartfelt message, fitting perfectly with the roots vibe. Delus contributed “Mi Find Har,” adding a sense of longing and discovery. Denyque’s “Love Hurts” showed her emotional range, while G Whizz’s “Arms Of Love” brought warmth and hope. Other tracks added more layers. Ginjah & Singer Jah’s “Wanna Get Out” touched on struggle and escape. I Octane’s “Topic Of The Day” kept listeners thinking, while Khago’s “Kiss & Make Up” brought a softer side. Nellie Roxx with “Rather Be Alone,” and Soulindi’s “Back To You,” rounded out the collection with unique perspectives. The Faithful Riddim remains important in reggae history, linking modern voices with classic roots, and keeping the tradition alive in today’s music.
