Dutty Gamez Riddim – Seanizzle Production

Seanizzle’s Dutty Gamez Riddim landed in 2011 as one of the sharper dancehall juggling sets from his Seanizzle Records imprint. Sean Reid had already built a reputation as a producer who could turn out clean, modern dancehall with enough street edge to travel, and this project sits comfortably in that run. The release later turned up with multiple digital configs, but the core 2011 version is the one that matters here.

The riddim rides on a taut, bright late-night dancehall pulse: clipped drums, a jumpy low end, and enough space for each voice to punch through without crowding the mix. It has that era’s polished Kingston club feel, but the arrangements keep a rougher crew-yard energy in the pocket. Seanizzle also steps into the frame as an artist, which gives the set extra character.

Beenie Man’s “Beenie Beenie” is the obvious anchor, all veteran swagger and easy command. Demarco’s “Wake Up Di Scheme” adds a sharper talk-out style, while Charly Black’s “Nuh Gal Cah Run Mi Head” and Blak Ryno’s “Wine And Balance” keep the riddim in party mode. Khago’s “Lie Dem Tell” brings the tougher, more confrontational side of the set, and I-Octane with Zamunda on “Rasta Eva” opens the palette a little wider. Mr. G and Seanizzle’s “Fresh Prince Of Belair” and Seanizzle’s own “Feelinz Dem A Carry” help round out a juggling that feels plugged into the dancehall moment of early 2011 without sounding generic.
