DEVIL’S ANGEL RIDDIM produced by SUPERSONIC SOUND 2007
Devils Angel Overview
In 2007, a group of reggae musicians and producers gathered in the studio to create a new riddim. The studio hand guided the session, making sure every artist had space to bring their own style. The creative direction was clear: mix classic reggae sounds with new energy. The result was a track base that echoed through reggae nights all year. The producer behind this project was SUPERSONIC SOUND. Known for their warm, full sound, SUPERSONIC SOUND had already made a name in the reggae world. They worked with several big artists and their productions often stood out for quality. Their focus was always on keeping the music real and powerful. On this riddim, each artist brought something special. Blessed sang “Tell Me Why” with deep emotion. Blessed is known for his positive lyrics and has won a Juno Award for Best Reggae Recording in Canada. Bunji Garlin delivered “Mr. Murder” in his unique style. Bunji Garlin is famous for his energetic performances and his hit “Differentology.” Chrisinti’s “My Enemies” added a thoughtful touch. Chrisinti is respected for his roots reggae style and message songs. Elijah Prophet’s “If Jah Is For Us” brought a spiritual vibe, while Flookie’s “Another One” added freshness to the mix. The whole set captured the conscious spirit of 2007—roots, realness, and strong reggae energy.
