By 2018, K-Licious Music was leaning into the remix culture that was keeping dancehall singles circulating well beyond their first run, and Caramel Ice Cream Riddim (Remixes) catches that moment neatly. The original 2017 riddim had already paired Tony “CD” Kelly’s songwriting with voices like Busy Signal, Romain Virgo, Wayne Wonder and Shaggy; this later version trims the field and refocuses the set around versions and alternate mixes from Yan Kings, Marc Petrone, John “JC” Carr, Fast Fingers, Kalibandulu, Iuvenis and Pink Panda. The production stays sleek and radio-ready, but the remixes push it toward club pressure, with cleaner percussion, a firmer low end and more open space around the vocals. Romain Virgo’s “Plans” and Khalia with Busy Signal on “Badder Than” give the riddim its strongest pull, while the whole project keeps a mid-tempo, glossy dancehall pulse that never lets the bass drop out for long.
