Delyno Brown was born on 5 August 1981 in Saint Thomas, US Virgin Islands. He was exposed to music at a young age as his father was a member of a popular band in St Thomas. Brown became popular when he was a member of the Star Lion Family Reggae Group which consisted of seven young artists. The group was popular as it opened for major superstars such as Capleton, Buju Banton, Junior Reid, Bunny Wailer among others. After the group split, Brown pursued his career as solo artist and succeed in being an opening act for stars like Elephant Man and Sizzla. He later on linked up with Dean Pond and Eno Stafford of Studio 340 and in 2005 they together recorded and released his debut album titled “The Pressure Is On”. The album included hits such as “No Limitation”, “Lights On You” and “Zion Is Home”.  His remixed version of the song “Love And Affection” was a hit in Jamaica. In 2009, Brown released his third album titled “Coming Back For You” and it was released by Pond.  His fourth album, “Africa Redemption” was released in 2012 and Brown worked with producers Trever ‘Baby G’ James, Damian Marley and Stephen Marley. In 2013, Brown organized a peace concert in St Thomas in response to the continuous rise in violent crime. In 2014, His fifth album “The Sound”  was released and his 2016 album” Red Rose” hit  the top ten of the Billboard Top Reggae Album Chart. Brown released the album “Rebel With A Cause in 2019”.
