Anthony Martin, born on December 4, 1975, in Spanish Town, Jamaica, is a musician associated with the Bobo Shanti Rastafari movement. He began his music career in 1999, recording his first songs for Buju Banton’s Gargamel Records after studying Architecture at the University of Technology and playing football for Constant Spring F.C. His first two albums were released by Minor 7 Flat 5 and Lustre Kings, and he collaborated with artists like Luciano and Turbulence.
Fyah covered songs by The Fugees and Dr. Dre and released music on various labels in the UK, Jamaica, and the United States. In 2009, he was featured on “Sound Guy Is My Target” from Rusko’s Babylon Volume 2. He frequently showcased his talent at the Uppsala Reggae Festival. His 10th album, “Life Of A King,” was released in September 2013, followed by tours in Africa and Europe. To celebrate his birthday in December 2013, he released a concert DVD featuring Jah Cure, Sizzla, Popcaan, and Ninjaman. Collaborating with Beenie Man and Johnny Live, Fyah released his 15th album, “Longest Liva,” in September 2019.
