John Morgan was born on 20 June 1965 in Kingston Jamaica and he became a popular DJ with Winston Riley’s Techniques sound system. His early releases included “She Young And She Green” recorded with Riley. In 1987 Morgan recorded with Steely & Clevie and he released “No Free Ride” and this track put him on the map. He released a it song with Cocoa Tea titled “Come Love Me” and a series followed after that and these included “Mind You Get A Lick”, “Yu Breath A Badda Me”, “Every Posse Follow Me”, “Expensive And Dear”, “Face Out”, “I Love The Father”, “Dollars Out” and many other hits. He also had combinations with several artists including Scotty o “Old Fire Stick” and “Send Me The Pillow”, Michael Palmer on “Everyone Makes Love” and Gregory Isaacs on “Way You Get Inna”. In 1993, he released the hit “A Gal Grudge You and later on released other hits including “Trust In God”, “Matey Anthem”, “Wave Your Rag” and “Almhouse”.
