Shevin Jarrett was born in Montego Bay, St James, Kingston Jamaica. His main musical influences while growing up were Jimmy Cliff and Vybz Kartel. Jarrett’s main influence came from his grandmother who always encouraged him to become an artist. During his childhood, he wrote and performed songs for his friends who in turn showed him good reception. His professional career began when he was introduced to producer Notnice by a friend. Jarrett signed to Notnice Records and together recorded his debut single, “Floss Boss” on the Detox Riddim. In 2017, he teamed up with Popcaan and Quada in “Unruly Camp”. Some of his popular tracks include, “Wassy”, “Shell”, “The Badness”, “100 Calls, “New Year”, “Good Pum Pum” and many others.
