Horror House Riddim – J1 Productions

2017 was the kind of year when dancehall riddims were leaning hard into stripped-back menace, and Horror House fits that mood with five sharp cuts from Jafrass, Propa Fade, Tanso, Teejay and Dre Swade. Jafrass opens the set with Anything A Anything, while Teejay’s Middle Day and Propa Fade’s Bulldozer give the riddim its roughest edge, riding J1 Productions’ dark, skeletal knock and leaving plenty of space for the vocals to cut through. It’s a compact juggling, and the tracklist stays tight with no filler, moving straight from Jafrass to Dre Swade’s Place Get Busy across five songs in all.
