One of those 2017 dancehall sets that feels like it came straight out of the street corner and into the party, Side Walk Riddim has a brisk, no-nonsense drive with Shella Posse keeping the arrangement lean and punchy. Chi Ching Ching’s “Fab” sets the tone early, but it’s the back-and-forth between the more aggressive cuts like Kalado’s “Enemy Zone” and the money-talk of Prado’s “Calculate The Money” that gives the riddim its shape. RDX linking up with Cojo Hotfood on “Walk” adds a sharper, more playful spark, and the instrumental at the end leaves the whole thing hanging like a fresh pull-up.
