Orville Thomas was born on 24 January 1978 in Kingston Jamaica. He was the first son to Jah Thomas, a popular dancehall artist in the 1970s and mother Cleopatra Wright. He was mainly raised by his grandmother who was a devout Christian so he was a regular attendee at church where he joined and  sang in the choir. He wrote and recorded his first single under the influence of his father. In 2001 he signed his first record deal with Penthouse Records under the management of Donovan Germaine. This is when he recorded some of his hit singles such as “My Ego”, “Cruzin”, “Love Will Show Me The Way” and “All My Life” which was made with Marcia Griffiths and the song was nominated for the 2001 Reggae Soca Awards.

Thomas also recorded hit singles such as “This is the feeling”, “The one for me”, “Banana”, Hey Baby”, “Gallis” and “In Heaven”. He made remarkable appearances on the 2003 Sting Reggae Festival Stage and on the 2004 Reggae Summerfest. He released his debut album “In Heaven” in 2005 which was produced and co-produced by O. Thomas , J. Brown and R. Brown for Fashozy Records released in Japan by Avex Entertainment Group. Avex also released his second album titled “Can’t Get Over You”. He has shared the stage with artists like Sean Paul Lady, Saw and Beenie Man. In 2012 he released his album “Krazy Love” which was followed by the mixtape “Vitamin D”.
