Christopher Oteng Martin, born on 14 February 1987 in St. Catherine, Jamaica, is a dancehall and reggae singer as well as a songwriter. He grew up a very bright student who collected a number of awards in 2003 because of his love for sports and dramatic arts. In 2005, he won the Digicel Rising Stars completion and he went into the spotlight immediately and released his 1st single titled “Love Is All We Need.” His parents were fervent supporters of his talent from the moment they realized he had potential. He has had the opportunity to work with lots of producers on various projects such as Christopher Birch, Robert Livingston, Arif Cooper, and Shane Brown. Chris was nominated for several awards in 2008 and the same year he was called to perform alongside Michael Bolton. His music has been aired on radio and reached different Jamaican charts. He has worked on many songs and with countless riddims like  “She Never Listens” produced by Star Kutt, featuring Demarco, Arif Cooper produced “Watch Me Lord” though it was released on the Fresh Ear label and in addition, “Melody to My Song.” Chris’s talent is seen even through his music videos, especially some of the hit videos like “Is It Love” released in 2016, “Come Back,” was done in 2018, and 2019’s “Dem Vex.” There is evidently more to come in the music fraternity with the likes of Chris’s musical talent.
