86 Overview

In 2016, the 86 Riddim project arrived on the dancehall scene straight out of Jamaica. This bashment release quickly became a favorite in clubs and parties, thanks to its lively, infectious energy. It also helped introduce new voices to the dancehall world. Several artists made their mark on this project. Alozade delivered the track “Dem Nu Ruff,” showing his strong presence in the genre. Alozade is well known for his earlier hit “Bad Man Nuh Pet Gal,” which helped establish his career in the early 2000s. Seya brought a fresh sound with “Snapshot,” while Shane O added his own style with “Shotta Number.” Shane O is recognized for his songwriting skills and for his later hit “Partner Draw.” Di Artist Redd contributed “Gimme Di,” and Fambo, who gained fame through his collaboration with Beenie Man on “Rum & Red Bull,” offered the party anthem “Liquor in My Cup.” Another standout was Stylez with “Don’t Stop.” Behind the scenes, JUSS KOOL PRODUCTIONS handled the production.
