The foundation rhythm for this project was created in the studio with a focus on classic reggae sounds. The studio hand guided the musicians to keep the rhythm true to traditional reggae. The team worked carefully on each instrument, making sure the bass and drums had the right feel. The creative direction was to keep the music rootsy, but also fresh for 2015. The producer behind the project was FIYAH FLAMEZ UNIT. This production team is known for supporting conscious reggae music and has a reputation for working with artists who use music for social commentary. FIYAH FLAMEZ UNIT has released several projects under their own label, helping to shape modern roots reggae. The riddim brought together several strong artists. Dan Fiyah Beats recorded "When You Find," giving the track a heartfelt and melodic touch. King Mee contributed "World Inna Pain," a song that highlights social issues with a powerful vocal style.
