X5 Riddim – Wmg Labrecords

X5 Riddim keeps the energy tight and modern, with seven cuts in just 23 minutes and a clean, compact dancehall run from WMG Labrecords. Rupee’s “Too Outta Timing” gives the set its most familiar name, while Candela Infiniti’s “Feeling Too Fete” with Wiz Genius pushes the more festive end of the groove, and Xone’s “Gimme Everything” keeps the pressure up. The whole thing sits in that sharper 2021 wave of producer-led riddims that prefer lean arrangements and quick payoff over big-room excess, and the instrumental from Wiz Genius closes the circle neatly. Compared with some of the label’s heavier street-side work, this one feels a little more polished and radio-ready without losing its edge, which is exactly where WMG Labrecords seemed to be heading with this release.
