Winninz Riddim – Bang Gut Records

Bang Gut Records’ Winninz Riddim lands in the producer’s 2021 dancehall run with a compact nine-track juggling that keeps the heat on the hard side. The cut feels built for street-side sound systems: raw, forceful, and stripped down enough that the vocal interplay does the talking, with Missionary’s “Balcony” opening the set before Dajah, Leprechaun, and Romie 7 each step in on clean and raw versions of their tunes. That back-and-forth between explicit and radio-friendly takes gives the project a proper dancehall yard feel, while SKP’s “Walk Out It” closes things out with the kind of blunt energy the riddim is chasing.
