Giographic Riddim – Giodan Production

In 2021, when dancehall was leaning hard into compact digital riddims with room for the vocalists to carry the weight, Giodan Production put out Giographic with four quick cuts and no wasted space. Balargii’s “Old Harbour Anthem, ” Kan Whyte’s “Livity, ” and Khardos on “Dial” sit alongside Giodan’s own title track, and the whole thing runs to just over eleven minutes. The production keeps its profile tight: clipped drum programming, a sharp synth lead, and a low-end pattern that stays steady rather than flashy. That restraint leaves the deejays room to ride the groove, with the title cut acting as the anchor while the other songs lean into firmer chant-style delivery and local-sounding hooks. It’s a short, functional dancehall package, moving at a brisk mid-tempo with a bassline that does most of the talking.
