Blak Karpet Production keeps the Lockdown Riddim tight and uncluttered, a four-track dancehall set that lands in that early-2021 moment when everyone was still writing from the shadow of the pandemic. Rojay’s “Lockdwon” opens the package with the sharpest hook in the bunch, while Wisdom’s “Times Like This” leans a little more reflective without losing the pulse. Amejah’s “Take It To Dem” pushes the energy back up, and the producer even leaves room for a straight instrumental version under the Blak Karpet name, which lets the rhythm breathe on its own. The whole thing runs just over 12 minutes, so there’s no wasted movement here. Rojay’s cut feels like the one that sticks longest, carrying the riddim’s tension and urgency with the most immediate bite.
