New Sounds Production leans into a tougher, street-level dancehall feel on Elusive Riddim, a lean eight-cut juggling that keeps the energy taut rather than overworked. Blieu’s “Amen” and HBK’s “Tempted” set the tone with sharp hooks and confident patter, while HD’s “Blessings” and Konchuz’s “Love Like Fire” give the project a more melodic edge without softening the bounce. The whole thing has that raw 2021 bashment pulse built for sound system play, with enough space for each voice to cut through cleanly. Mawga Don’s “Warrior” adds some grit in the middle of the sequence, and Sany-G closes out with “Like Me, ” a final cut that leaves the riddim sounding clipped, direct, and ready for juggling.
