Neo Soul Riddim comes in lean and tidy from Ottomatik Productions, a three-track dancehall set that keeps the focus on the songs rather than any big studio spectacle. Tre Otto is the common thread here, linking up first with K. Lee on “Slow Wine, ” then circling back with Mic Love for “Some Ah Dat” and Mr. Walkie on “Standing Ovation, ” which gives the project a nice little family feel even with only a few cuts. The title hints at something smoother, but this is still very much a dancehall package, built for easy replay and a quick dose of melody.
