Five tracks, six names, and a nice little crossover tilt give Flavor Riddim its shape right away: this is Teamfoxx keeping the dancehall pulse moving while letting soca voices slide into the mix. Charly Black’s “Hold Me” brings the kind of easy hook he’s built a career on, while Machel Montano’s “10 Outta 10” pushes the tempo with that big-chant energy he can lock into so well. The one that really changes the temperature is “People Business, ” with Teddyson John and Skinny Fabulous pairing up over the riddim in a way that feels made for the road. Released in June 2021, the EP clocks in at just 11 minutes, so it moves quick and leaves no dead space.
