Badsound’s 2024 Sounami Riddim brings together a hard-edged dancehall lineup led by Freezy’s Controller, Mata’s Back It Up, and Prospere’s You Must Learn, with Gigi, Zoomboy, Da Vyrus, Yaan, Simbad, Seebo, and Dan Yute also in the mix. Released in February 2024 and issued as an 11-track set, the riddim leans into a fast, raw pace that suits the hardcore side of the genre while still carrying a soca crossover feel in places. Zoomboy’s Boomflick and Sly’s Bad B-Tch are among the more eye-catching cuts, and the project reflects the Badsound/Riddimstream partnership behind the release.
