Spanish Zess Riddim – 4th Genna

Seven cuts deep, Spanish Zess Riddim keeps the focus tight and the cast lean, with Azkel, Chosen, Jah Jah and Castella, King Bana, Lyfe, Mr Renzo and Quest all taking a swing at the same 4th Genna backdrop. The production leans into a clipped, modern dancehall pulse with a hard kick, skittering percussion and enough negative space for the vocals to cut through cleanly. Chosen’s “Safe Place” and the Jah Jah/Castella pairing on “No Comprende” are the tracks that most clearly show how the riddim works, riding the pocket instead of crowding it. It’s a short-form dancehall set from 2021, but the sound is precise: punchy low-end, sharp drum accents and a mid-tempo roll that keeps the whole thing moving without ever rushing.
