All rattling snares and bruising bass, Wild Out leans into that raw 2008 dancehall energy, with Elephant Man and Dr Evil setting the pace on the title cut before Busy Signal and Bling Dawg keep the pressure up on their own versions. The format is straight to the point: each song comes in both raw and clean edits, so you get six cuts total and can hear how the same hook lands in different settings. That double-up structure suits a riddim built for sound system replay, and the highlight is probably Busy Signal’s “Gangstas Paradise, ” which sits neatly between the more ragged Elephant Man pairing and Bling Dawg’s sharper, cockier turn. Wild Out Riddim was produced by Everton Burrell and released through Hard Drive Records in 2004, though this 2008 package keeps the same core songs.
