Vengeance Riddim (2019) – Impact Musiq

Impact Musiq keeps Vengeance Riddim moving at a clipped dancehall pace, and the 2019 set leans into that one-gear pressure with 12 cuts that stay tight rather than sprawling. Cracka Don’s “Hear Seh, ” SparoBlaxx’s “Ready, ” D’Syanide’s “Fling It Up, ” and Dhat Bwoy KC’s “Naa Fail” give the riddim its early jolt, while Sliq One and MadVoice keep the mood in that determined, streetwise pocket. There’s a slight lift when SSG goes for “Live The Dream, ” but the project really gets its edge from the rougher end of the roster, especially Whytt Shadow’s title track, which lands like the sharpest warning on the set and leaves the whole riddim with its hardest imprint.
