Carved out of the 2019 dancehall circuit, Blizzard Riddim carries the kind of cold-front title that fits a sharp, no-frills juggling: Weedy G Soundforce lines up 18 cuts and keeps the energy moving between gunman bravado, party-forward chanting and a few more devotional turns. Leftside opens the set with “Tease Me, ” while Lisa Mercedez slides in with “Speed” and Danish’s “Weh Dem A Try” keeps the tension high; there’s also enough room for darker fare like G-Blunt’s “Real Killa” and Villa Dutch’s “More Than Prayer. ” Weedy G Soundforce has been steadily building a catalog of riddims for years, and here that experience shows in the way the rhythm leaves space for each voice without losing its bite.
