Weedy G Soundforce keep the arrangement lean and punchy, with a skanking bounce under the vocals and enough low-end pressure to give songs like Top Cat’s “Ganja Smoker, ” Lutan Fyah’s “Mix Up, ” and Merciless’ “Country Boy” some real bite. The lineup mixes seasoned voices with a few lighter touches, from Fantan Mojah and Jimmy Riley on “Tell Me Your Name” to Perfect and Skarra Mucci adding their own angle.
