The Monster Riddim – Propaway Productions

The Monster Riddim comes in lean and punchy, a 2019 soca cut from Propaway Productions and Dutty Life Records that keeps the energy tight with just four tunes and four artists. Muddy’s “Hard Wuk” and Khalifah’s “Never Give Up” set the tone early, both leaning into that hard-driving carnival push, while Slacky’s “Bad Girl” and Image’s “Down Dey” add a little more character to the set as the production stays brisk and direct. It was issued as The Monster Riddim EP, dated August 23, 2019, under Proppa Way Studio, with the whole thing running nine minutes and staying focused on movement rather than excess.
