Summa Starta Riddim – Samiranks Music

Anthony B’s “Pretty Girl” sets the tone on Summa Starta Riddim, and from there Samiranks Music keeps the swing tight across a compact 2021 dancehall set that also pulls in G Whizz, Jahfrican, Qraig Voicemail and Posh Morris. The riddim leans bright and rolling rather than heavy-handed, with the artists mostly staying in lover’s and lifestyle territory, so tracks like “Dream Girl” and “Yah So” sit neatly beside the more playful “Party Time” cut. Compared with Samiranks Music’s later, even leaner Summa Sum’n project, this one feels a little broader in scope and more like a full crew outing.
