Galang Riddim – StarTraxx Studio

StarTraxx Studio returns to the shared-rhythm format with a broad Dancehall cast, placing its producer-engineer identity at the centre rather than treating the instrumental as an afterthought. The studio has long worked in riddim form, and Galang continues that practice with a vocal selection that moves through flirtation, movement and plainspoken yard talk before returning to the V1. 3 rhythm cut.

D Slayer’s “Galang Gyal” gives the project its title-facing entry point, while Yeshie Renee’s “Move and Galang” turns the same language into a direct dancefloor prompt. The connection is useful: this is a juggling designed for artists to take a common phrase and push it toward their own personality, not a set of unrelated songs placed under one banner.

Elsewhere, Freeshh Biggz’s “Top Tier (Phar Phat)” and Danny Bless’s “Ice Wata” bring sharply different title imagery into the session, and the pairing of Stamma Kid with Don Crazy on “Tip Pan Toe” adds one of the edition’s few explicit combinations. Ricardo Rawal’s “Walk Out” closes the vocal run before StarTraxx Studio’s instrumental version restores the central rhythm on its own terms.

The strength here is the range of approaches held inside one producer’s framework: direct, dance-minded titles, varied vocal identities, and an instrumental finish that keeps the riddim itself in view.
