Star Bwoy Overview
CHIMNEY RECORDS, a well-known Jamaican production team, was behind the selector’s favorite in 2010. Founded by Jordan McClure and David Hayle, CHIMNEY RECORDS became famous for creating some of the most memorable dancehall rhythms of the decade, including the “Star Bwoy Riddim.” Their work has helped shape the sound of modern dancehall, with millions of streams and a reputation for quality. This project brought together some of dancehall’s most energetic voices. Aidonia delivered “She Mek Me Say,” showing off the style that made him a staple in the scene.
