Sound Xterminata Riddim, also known as Koloko Riddim, sits right in that early-2010s dancehall pocket where sound-clash talk and warning-shot lyrics still carried real weight, and the title alone tells you this one was aimed squarely at selector culture. Assassin opens with “Mad Sound, ” Burro Banton teams with Joe Lickshot on the sharp-tongued “Sound Xterminata, ” and Carl Meeks linking with Fantan Mojah on “Haul and Pull Up” gives the set a nice cross-generational pull, while Lukie D’s “Call The Hearse” and Mr. Vegas’s “Another Sound Dead” keep the vibe grim and declarative.
