Pumpin Riddim – King Dubbist

Sizzla’s “Only Jah Knows” gives Pumpin Riddim its clearest pull, with his voice riding King Dubbist’s lean 2015 cut in a way that keeps the whole set locked in from the jump. The line-up is small but sharply chosen: Kali Green’s “Movement” brings a steadier rootsy lift, while Roommate’s title cut leans into the rhythm’s name and its skanking pulse. There’s no overcrowding here, just three versions of the same groove, and that gives the production room to breathe — warm bass, clipped drums, and a forward-moving reggae bounce that sits right in the mid-2010s riddim wave where concise, singer-driven projects were doing plenty with very little.
