Dragon Riddim – King Dubbist

Dragon Riddim keeps things lean and immediate, with just three vocal cuts and a version riding the same 2012 line. Brother Culture’s “Secret Delivery” is the sharpest entry point, all clipped delivery and militant pulse, while Jah Reuben Mystic’s “Take A Look” and Ras Zacharri’s “Jah Rule” sit naturally in that same conscious lane. King Dubbist’s production has that rough-hewn roots pressure you’d expect from the London corner of the scene, and the later connection to Roommate’s Rootstep project gives “Jah Rule” a little extra afterlife, like the riddim had legs beyond its original run. It’s a small set, but the dub version at the end leaves the whole thing hanging in the right way.
