JAH GIVE RIDDIM VOL 2 – SHATZ MUSIC 2023

Jah Give Riddim Vol. 2 is the 2023 second EP in Jahnatan’s Jah Give series from ShatZmusiC Productions, written and produced by Y. Shatzmiller. The five-track set keeps the whole spotlight on Jahnatan, with Greatful Salvation, Midnight Ska, Rasta to Liberate, Out of the Dark, and The Yabbi in You all cut to the same reggae framework. Rasta to Liberate gets a little extra colour from guest horns and percussion, which helps the project move beyond a straight vocal showcase. At just over 20 minutes, it plays like a compact roots-minded session with a skanking edge, and the Midnight Ska cut gives the release its liveliest turn while the more reflective titles keep it grounded in conscious message.
