One Shot Riddim (2019) – Cmmg Records

CMMG Records keeps this one tight: four voices, one 2019 reggae riddim, and no wasted motion. King’s “Girls Like These” and Mr Duncan’s title cut sit alongside M1 aka Menace’s “My Yute” and Dawg E Slaughter’s “Nah Play, ” giving the project a small but varied lineup that leans into straight-ahead dancehall-rooted reggae rather than anything overly polished. CMMG would later turn up with other riddim projects like Bruk Speed, but One Shot feels leaner and more to the point, the kind of set that was clearly made for selectors and sound system rotation rather than soft-focus streaming.
