CMMG Records’ Bruk Speed Riddim arrives with that lean, skittering 2017 dancehall feel that leaves plenty of space for the voices to cut through, and Infamous K wastes no time locking into it with “Nah Run Slack, ” the sharpest cut in the bunch by a margin. Jango’s “Top Ah D Menu” and Pternsky’s “Gwan” keep the energy moving in the same rough-edged direction, while Sasha Liz and Yoncia bring a bit more melody and attitude to round things off.
