Full Stop Riddim – London Star

2016 was the year dancehall kept leaning into lean, digital juggling, and London Star’s Full Stop Riddim sits right in that pocket with six short cuts and no wasted motion. The production has a spare, punchy feel, with enough low-end pressure to keep the groove moving while the artists work the mic with badmind warnings, self-belief and a bit of money-talk. Badboy Matic’s “Love Mi Life” and Father Bookie’s “Money Haffi Mek” give the set its clearest attitude, while Shakespeare’s “Bun Bad Mind” pushes the sharper edge. Talis cools things down on “Good Feeling, ” and Tek Wey closes it out with “Happy Time, ” a final tune that leaves the instrumental’s crisp, forward-driving bounce ringing after the last vocal line.
