Weary Man Riddim – Noaidi Records

Weary Man carries that rootsy, reflective edge you hear on a lot of Scandinavian reggae productions, and Noaidi keeps the tempo measured enough for the songs to breathe. Kiddus I’s “Cycle” feels like the anchor here, slipping in with that seasoned, plainspoken authority while Luciano’s “Building Block” stretches the set out at the close with a longer, meditative turn. Across the riddim, Fyah George, Turbulance, Mikey General, Pinchers and Jah’Mila all lean into the same searching mood, so the project hangs together as a quiet, thoughtful set rather than a flashy showcase. Ten cuts in all, and not a wasted one.
