Dreadsquad – No Walls Riddim – Recordjet

Dreadsquad’s No Walls Riddim landed out of Łódź, Poland, and you can hear the crew leaning into deep roots and that rockers shuffle feel rather than chasing anything flashy. The strongest pairing here is probably Dub Princess on the title cut, her voice sitting neatly over Dreadsquad’s rolling bass and clipped drums, while Trinity’s “Power To The People” pushes the same rhythm into a firmer, more militant groove. Don Fe’s “Hibisco” adds a lighter, horn-led breeze before the set drops back into the instrumental versions and the Conscious Sounds mix, a nice little extra touch at the end.
