Greezzly Records laces this 2019 set with a lean, rootsy pulse, then lets the voices do the cutting, especially when Lutan Fyah links with Ras Penco and Bescenta on “Skilla Dan Ninjas” and Skarra Mucci comes through with “Thruth. ” The riddim has that dry, forward-driving feel you’d expect from a crew that knows how to keep the groove tight without crowding the singers, and the whole thing hangs together with just enough edge to make the title make sense. Gamba The Lenk’s “Reggae Hangover” and Makkan J’s “Reggae Music” keep the energy moving, before the label signs off with its own version cut, almost like a quick nod at the end.
